THURSDAY, JULY 3

Haynes-Apperson Festival — through Saturday, downtown Kokomo. Food, music, vendors, parade — free admission. For more information call (765) 455-1234.

Wrist band day at Summitville July 4th Celebration fair/carnival/fireworks — 5 p.m. to close, Summitville Lions Club.

Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers with Steve Winwood — 7:30 p.m., Verizon Wireless Music Center, Noblesville.

Annual fireworks display — dusk, Alexandria Intermediate School parking lot. Alexandria Community Band will perform its Freedom Concert at 7:30 p.m. Concessions will be provided by the Alexandria Athletic Department, at two locations, the football stadium and the concessions trailer on the visitor side of the football stadium.

Midnight Parade — downtown Anderson. Pre-Party Jam will be held at the Anderson Town Centre at 9 p.m. Enjoy live music while gearing up for the area’s only midnight parade to celebrate the Fourth.

FRIDAY, JULY 4

Midnight Parade — 12:01 a.m., downtown Anderson. Pre-Party Jam will be held in the Anderson Town Centre from 9 to 11 p.m. featuring Casey Jamerson and special guest the Danny Frazier Band.

Glorious Fourth — Friday through Sunday, Conner Prairie, 13400 N. Allisonville Road, Fishers. Enjoy all-day patriotic fun at the prairie. Join in on a game of historic baseball or try your skills at spitting watermelon seeds. Kids will enjoy playing historic games and getting up-close with animals.

Kid’s Fair — 1-5 p.m., American Legion Post 408, 5100 Mounds Road, Chesterfield.

Doc’s Band and Waldon’s Song (part of Freaky Tikki Friday) — 5 p.m., in the parking lot next to the Blue Bottle, downtown Muncie.

Comedian Heywood Banks show — 7 p.m., French Lick Resort Casino. Following the show the resort will host a fireworks extravaganza on the grounds. All concerts are held in the Windsor Ballroom located on the second floor of the Event Center Building attached to the French Lick Springs Hotels. Tickets may be purchased online at www.frenchlick.com or by calling TicketForce at (877) 840-0457.

Free outdoor concert featuring Monkees star Davy Jones — 8 p.m., Hoosier Park. Reaul in free concert at Applewood Centre at 8:30 p.m., followed by fireworks at 10 p.m.

Summer Stage Fest at Minnetrista — 8:30 p.m., patriotic music with America’s Hometown Band.

55th annual fireworks show — dusk, Summitville Lions Club. Rain date is Sunday at dusk.
