Michelle Ann Walker and Joshua Alan Arthur were married Aug. 11 at 2:30 p.m. at the First Christian Church in Summitville with Pastor Nathan Lutterman officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Jane and Steve Walker and granddaughter of Maxine Ewing, all of Summitville. She is a 2000 graduate of Madison-Grant High School and a 2002 graduate of Indiana Business College with an associate’s degree in accounting and business administration. She currently attends Northward University pursuing a bachelor’s degree in accounting and business management and is employed as a Decision Support Analyst with Community Health Network in Indianapolis.
The groom is the son of Robert and Tammy Arthur of Indianapolis and grandson of Glen Arthur of Somerset, Ky. He is a 2000 graduate of Emmerich Manual High School and a 2007 graduate of IUPUI with a bachelor’s degree in health administration, and a minor in public and environmental affairs. He currently attends Indiana Wesleyan University pursuing a master’s of business administration degree and is employed as a Financial Analyst with Community Health Network in Indianapolis.
Bridesmaids were Holly Jackson, Trista Miller and Kendra Koons, all friends of the bride. Flower girl was Minnie Arthur, niece of the groom. Ashley Ponder, cousin of the bride, registered the guests.
Groomsmen were Robert Arthur I, father of the groom, David Arthur and Robert Arthur II, brothers of the groom. Ring bearer was Robert Arthur III, nephew of the groom. Ushers were Jeff Walker, brother of the bride, Jesse Jackson, friend of the bride, and Kevin Schell, cousin of the groom.
A reception was held at the Historic Opera House in Elwood following the ceremony.
The couple celebrated their honeymoon on the Big Island of Hawaii. The newlyweds reside in Noblesville.
