Melissa D. Owens and Jason Edward O’Banion were married Sept. 8, at the Middletown Civic Center, with Judge Thomas L. Clem officiating. A reception was held after the ceremony.
Melissa is the daughter of Don Owens, Middletown, and Keita Penry of Anderson. She attended Shenandoah schools, and is a 1998 graduate of Ebbert Education Center and a 2005 graduate of Ivy Tech State College with a degree in office administration.
Jason is the son of Jim O’Banion, Anderson, and the late Judye O’Banion. He is a 1997 graduate of Pendleton Heights High School and a former employee of Guide Corp., Anderson. He is presently attending Ivy Tech Community College.
Matron of honor was Jeni Anderson, friend of the bride. Bridesmaids were Jennifer Brinker, sister of the groom, and Susie King, cousin of the bride. Flower girl was Shelby Brinker, niece of the couple.
Best man was Jeff Saunders, friend of the groom. Groomsmen were Brady Graham, friend of the groom, and Shawn Brinker, brother-in-law of the groom. Ring bearer was Brevan Graham, friend of the groom.
Melissa and Jason enjoyed a trip to Greenville, Ohio, and now reside in Middletown.
