Miss America Katie Stam to attend Bucks-Pacers

— INDIANAPOLIS — Miss America Katie Stam will attend the Indiana Pacers’ final game of the season Wednesday night against the Milwaukee Bucks.
Stam is from nearby Seymour and is the first Miss America from Indiana. She won the title Jan. 24 in Las Vegas and is on a national speaking tour promoting the Miss America organization and her own program of community service.
She’ll meet with Pacers players before the game and then will be introduced at center court before tipoff.
Neither the Pacers nor the Bucks will advance to the playoffs.
