By John Millikan, For The Herald Bulletin

“Lapel is bigger and stronger than us inside,” Hobbs said. “Ingle has killed us now for at least five straight games that we have played him.”

With the win, Lapel starts the season off 1-0 and will travel next to Wapahani on Friday. Elwood dropped its season opener for the fifth straight year and will host Guerin Catholic on Tuesday.
