ANDERSON — Highland’s wrestling team claimed all but two matches Wednesday en route to a 55-6 victory over host Anderson in the first dual meet of the season for both teams.

The Scots had six wrestlers win by pin, another with a technical fall and another by decision. Highland claimed three victories by forfeit.

Jordan McCool (119-pound weight class), defending state runner-up Camden Eppert (125), Dominique Bryant (130), Mason Berryman (135), Jake Holzman (215) and Jack Becker (285) all won by pin for the Scots. Defending state runner-up Sammy Bennett won by technical fall at 160, while Josh Logan won at 189 by decision.

Anderson’s Dylon Gregg (140) and Philip Buhler (171) won by decision.

Highland wrestles Wednesday at Lawrence North, while Anderson is off until a Dec. 4 match against Muncie Central, Tri and Winchester.
