ANDERSON — Johnna Rebenack lifted the Anderson softball team over the .500 mark with a no-hitter at home Tuesday against Muncie Central.

The Indians won the game 10-0 in five innings. Rebenack, a senior, struck out 11 hitters and walked only two.

Chrissy Stephens, Erica Couch and Morgan Jarvis each had two hits for AHS. Jarvis drove in three runs and Couch two. Anderson is now 10-9 overall and 2-5 in the North Central Conference.

Carmel 12, Highland 2

The Greyhounds broke open a close game in the final two innings of this game shortened to five innings.

Stormy Holder and Krista Davis each had a pair of hits for the Scots. Highland dropped to 17-8 with the loss.

Mount Vernon 7, Alexandria 0

The Tigers managed eight hits but failed to score against the Marauders.

Kylie Bischof was perfect in three trips to the plate for Alexandria, which is now 16-10 on the season.

Mississinewa 6, Elwood 0

Elwood managed just two hits against the Indians and both were by Kayla Rider. The defeat drops the Panthers to 7-12.
