MIDDLETOWN — Sean Collins and Ben Cronk each had two hits and Nick Burke produced three RBIs for Pendleton Heights in its 8-2 baseball victory over Shenandoah on Monday.
Nate Frazier picked up the win for Pendleton Heights, which improved to 9-3.
Junior shortstop Luke Hamm of Shenandoah had two of the Raiders’ six hits.
Alexandria 5, Tipton 4
The visiting Tigers produced three runs in the top of the seventh inning for the come-from-behind victory.
Alexandria pitcher Jordan Baker struck out six and allowed four hits, while teammate Drew Overman came through with three hits. Sophomore Zach Yeagy delivered a solo home run for the Tigers.
Madison-Grant 31, Lakeview Christian 0
The Argylls steamrolled the Lions with 18 hits, while Neal Stephens threw a three-hit shutout that included 11 strikeouts.
Jacob Morrical came through with five hits and as many RBIs for M-G. Skyler Nolder had three hits and drove in four runs.
Liberty Christian 8, Howe 6
Josh Freeman delivered two hits for the host Lions, who also received outstanding pitching from senior Tim Zeigler with 12 strikeouts. Joe Huff had two RBI for Liberty Christian.
