The bird is a white-crowned sparrow on top of the bird feeder. These birds show up at his feeder every winter and feed along with many other species. In the summer time they are in the Northwest, Alaska and far northern Canada. Mitchell lives on a farm outside of Alexandria and enjoys the birds. He says he takes way too many bird photos, but they make great backgrounds on his computer.
