— 36th annual Stonycreek Pumpkin Harvest Festival — 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily through Oct. 31, Stonycreek Pumpkin Farm, 11366 Indiana 38 East, Nobleville. No parking fee Monday through Friday, $5 Saturday and Sunday. Some activities include the hayride to the pumpkin patch, a haunted house for youngsters, gourd sling shot, corn cob cannon, Kiddiepillar, candle making, farm animals, and more. New this year — children can try their skills on the rock-climbing wall. Most activities have a nominal fee. — Seventh annual Halloween “Big Event” — 6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 30, Geater Center, 1611 Chase St. Hosted by the Anderson Parks & Recreation Department in conjunction with the Kiwanis Club of West Anderson. Featured will be various organizations with booths, games, refreshments, and door prizes, as well as a costume contest. There is no charge for children 12 and younger to attend. — Trails of Terror Haunted Woods — 2742 E. 1100S, Markleville. Winds you through five acres of dark foggy woods where you will encounter horrendous creatures and serial killers. Be prepared to be scared and ready to face your fears. Admission is $10. Not recommended for children under five. — Second annual Haunted Cabin — Pendleton American Legion Post 117, 611 W. State St., Pendleton. Operatings hours are as follows: Oct. 17-18, 24-25, 8:30 p.m. to midnight and Halloween night, Oct. 31, 8 p.m. to 1 a.m. Lights on time will be offered again this year on Saturdays (Oct. 18 and Oct. 24) from 7 to 8 p.m. Cost of admission is $7 during regular hours and $2 during lights-on hours. Additionally, on Friday, Oct. 24, WFMS-FM 95.5 will be broadcasting from the parking lot from 8 to 9 p.m.
