Review: Daleville robbery bypassed in ‘Enemies’

Dillinger exhibit

INDIANAPOLIS — John Dillinger and his legendary gang tore across the Midwest between 1933 and 1934. Now, an exhibit, “Dillinger! Forging a Hoosier Legend,” recalls America’s captivation with the bank robbers. The exhibit opens July 15 at the Indiana State Library, 140 N. Senate, in Indianapolis and runs through Dec. 31. Hours are 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. One grand opening event features a 3 p.m. forum with Jeff Scalf, great-nephew of Dillinger. For information, check out www.dillingerlegend.org
