Euchre, bridge winners announced

— XI Chapter of Kappa, Kappa Inc. sponsors bridge and euchre competitions, fall nut sales and spring Easter egg sales. This year’s proceeds from these projects totaled over $9,000. Tri Kappa awarded scholarships for local students to attend Indiana colleges and donated funds to Alternatives Inc., The Salvation Army’s Baby Food Pantry and to the Anderson Symphony Orchestra.
The bridge and euchre competitions begin each year in September and end the following May 15. Tri Kappa continues to seek players for groups, including couples bridge and euchre groups, ladies daytime and evening bridge and men’s evening bridge. New groups of 16 players or eight couples can be accommodated. For more information, call (765) 649-9244.

Bridge-A-Rama winners
• Couples Evening Group 7: 1st — Gordon and Beverly Barg; 2nd — Julie Benagh and Pauline Merritt.
• Ladies Daytime Group 15: 1st — Mary Kay Roby and Linda Hayes; 2nd — Sharon Howard and Katy Cunningham.
• Ladies Evening Group 18: 1st — Prudy Dillon and Peggy Rogers; 2nd — Loretta Heiniger and Shirley Hulse.
• Men’s Evening Group 20: 1st — Jack Eflin and Bob Campbell; 2nd — Tom Epply and Charles Braddock.
Euchre-A-Rama winners
• Couples Evening Group 1E: 1st — Steve and Julie Benagh; 2nd — Dennis and Jeanne Justice.
• Couples Evening Group 2E: 1st — Steve and Candy Short; 2nd — Greg and Leslie Busing.
