Letter: Family thankful for fundraiser
Thank you is not enough sometimes

The family of James L. Smith would like to send special thanks to all who took time to set up the fundraiser to benefit him in his time of need. The event was a huge success due, in part, to so many individuals and merchants who donated items. This was a blessing. James and Janice would like to especially thank Cindy Anderson and Patsy and Don Shaw for organizing this event. Thanks also to Mayor Ockomon and his staff who attended the event and to representatives of the Parks Department and maintenance superintendent Tom Tacket and his crew for preparing the park. Thanks to Jerry Reeves for the entertainment and to family members and individuals who attended. Special thanks to Courtney for setting up the petting zoo for the children.

The family wants to make sure everyone knows that they truly appreciate everything that everyone has done for them during this time. Thank you is not enough sometimes, but we feel truly blessed to have all the support from everyone who is in our lives.
