Breaking News:  WEATHER: Cloudy, precipitation likely  December 03, 2008 07:25 am

EDITORIAL II: See you at the Midnight Parade

Anyone who has been to Anderson’s famous Midnight Parade won’t need an invitation to return this year. Held each year since 1976, at the hour when July 4 begins, the parade has become one of the most anticipated annual events in Madison County.

It’s that time again, so we hope to see a lot of people lining the streets tonight, checking out this year’s parade vehicles and maybe catching a few pieces of candy. Some of us might have to stay up a little past our bedtime, but we can safely say it’s worth it. Just plan that holiday cookout for a little later.
