On Sunday at 5 p.m. in the sanctuary at Park Place Church of God, 501 College Drive, the Coolidge Chancel Concert Series will present Choral Selections by the Anderson Symphonic Choir and the premiere of Luciana Schulle’s oratorio “Madrea,” presented by the Anderson University Chorale Women, with soloist Marci Wagnon, and the Anderson University Chamber Orchestra.
The public is invited to attend, and a freewill offering will be taken.

Brass ensemble to perform Sunday
The BrassWind Ensemble, under the direction of trombonist Erick Vannatter, will perform at the Sunday morning service of the Alexandria First United Methodist Church. Selections will highlight the season of Thanksgiving. The Sunday morning service begins at 11 a.m. Dr. Joyce Thornton will deliver the sermon. Everyone is invited to worship.
Homecoming service Sunday
Central Wesleyan Church, 2406 Delaware St., will have its annual Thanksgiving Homecoming service at 10:30 a.m. Sunday. Special guests will be former staff members, Rev. Keith Hinton and Jim and Caroline Staley.
Following the morning service, there will be a meal served in the Bateman Community Center. The public is invited.
Thanksgiving Day service Sunday
First United Methodist Church in Frankton will host a community Thanksgiving Day service at 7 p.m. Sunday with a speaker from the Wesleyan Church.
