Oct. 27: Halloween Happenings

- 35th annual Stonycreek Farm Pumpkin Harvest Festival — open daily 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Stonycreek Farm, 11366 Indiana 38E, Noblesville. No parking fee. For more information, call (317) 776-9427.

- Annual Zola Crenshaw Halloween Parade — Lineup begins at 6 p.m.; parade begins at 6:30 p.m. in the National City Bank parking lot and move through the town of Chesterfield, ending at the Millcreek Civic Center. Costume judging and goodie bags for all children attending.

- Fourth annual Mounds Mall Halloween Extravaganza — 6 to 8 p.m., Mounds Mall. Free pumpkin decorating for the first 300 children, age 12 and a under. A costume contest will begin at 7:30 p.m. featuring four age divisions — 0-3, 4-6, 5-8 and 9-12. First-place winner in each division. Night Stalkers will have live snacks, spiders, rats and creatures on display. YMCA will take Halloween costume pictures for $5.

- Haunted School for children K through eighth grade — 6 to 10 p.m., Ebbertt Education Center, 325 W. 38th St. Hosted by the Naval Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps. $3 per child; four children for $10. Adults are free if accompanied by a child. Prizes for costumes. This event benefits United Way.

- Trails of Terror — 2742 E. 1100S, Markleville, 8 to 11 p.m. Winds you through five acres of dark foggy woods — where you encounter creatures and killers. Play a game of Jigsaw and watch as Jeepers Creepers take flight. Admission is $9 (children 5 and under are admitted free, however, not recommended). For more information, call (765) 533-2016.

- Haunted Park — Parking, tickets at Millcreek Civic Center, Chesterfield. You will be transferred to the park from Chesterfield, dusk to 11 p.m. Adults $8, children and students, $5.

Tuesday

- Grandma and Grandpa’s Pumpkin and Gourd Patch, 2537 S 300E. in Anderson 10 a.m. until dark. Corn maze, hay rides, pumpkin slingshot and thousands of pumpkins. No admission fee.

- “Halloween Big Party” — 6 to 8 p.m., Geater Community Center, 1611 Chase St. Sponsored by the Anderson Parks & Recreation Department-Geater Community Center. Free games, candy and prizes for children 12 years and under. For more information, call Willy Turner at (765) 648-6866 or Arnetta Wilkins at (765) 648-6867.
