Today
- Grandma and Grandpa’s Pumpkin and Gourd Patch, 2537 S. 300E in Anderson 1 to 5 p.m. Corn maze, hay rides, pumpkin slingshot and thousands of pumpkins. No admission fee.
- 35th annual Stonycreek Farm Pumpkin Harvest Festival — open daily 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Stonycreek Farm, 11366 Indiana 38E, Noblesville. $5 parking fee per car on Saturday and Sunday. For more information, call (317) 776-9427.
- Smith Family Farms Pumpkin Patch — open every weekend through October. 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and from noon to 5 p.m. Sunday, 7055 W. 675S. Admission is $3 per person, under age 3 is free. Corn maze, hay rides, petting zoo, playground, refreshments and pumpkins.
- Halloween Psychic Fair — 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., Pyramid of Enlightenment Spiritual Center, 8101 E. Washington St., Indianapolis. $5 admission charge; $10 for 15 minutes of psychic reading. There will be readers of all types — astrology, palmistry, tarot, numerology and clairvoyance. For more information call (317) 899-7590.
- Backyard Greenhouse — 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m., 7232 W. 10N, Anderson. Corn maze, which will be haunted at dark, pumpkins,, mums, family fun and refreshments. Cost is $2 for corn maze; children under 3, admitted free.
- Halloween Party — 2 p.m. until ?, Pendleton American Legion Post 117, 611 W. State St., for members, their families and guests. Doors open at noon. Costume judging will be at 2:30 p.m. in three categories, ages one day through 16 years and adults (best dressed). Hot dogs and chips will be served following judging. Carnival games, treats and a tour through the “Haunted Cabin.”
- Halloween ZooBoo — 2 to 7 p.m., Indianapolis Zoo. Dress up the kids in their most ghoulish costumes and join the animals at the Indianapolis Zoo. Not-So-Scary Animal Show at 3:30 and 5:30 p.m. Guests will enjoy the Bounce House and the ever-popular pumpkin bowling, along with monster DJ music and something introduced just last year: a hay maze for the little ones. Halloween ZooBoo is included with regular zoo admission and is free for zoo members. Zoo admission is $13.50 for adults, and $8.50 for seniors 62 and older and kids ages 2 to 12. Children 1 and under are free, and parking is $5 per car.
- Halloween fun — Mounds State Park, Anderson. Variety of fun fall activities: 2 p.m. — going batty, learn about bats with fun games and activities. All activities are free, except the hayride, and open to the public. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Admission to the park is $5.
- Trunk n’ Treat Fall Festival — 3-5 p.m., Daleville Christian Church. Activities include trunk ‘n treating, moon walk, face painting, tumble bus, craft booth and free food.
- Community-wide Trunk-or-Treat — Chesterfield Community Church of God, Indiana 32, from 4 to 6 p.m. This annual event serves the community by offering a safe and fun alternative to door-to-door trick-or-treating. Held in the church parking lot, this event features decorated car trunks, treats, games, and food booths. Children and parents are invited to dress up in their costumes and collect treats from the various trunks. For more information, please contact the church office, (765) 378-7685.
- Trick or Treat at the Park — 5 to 7 p.m. Davis Park, Indiana 32 and Layton Road. For children 0-12. Activities scheduled this year include “Pop”kin Patch, Casper in the Corn, Pumpkin Pull, “Hollo”Bean Toss, Grab-A-Goblin, H-E-Y Ride, candy trails (walk on the trails), refreshments, storyteller, magician and a on Fire presented by the Boy Scouts of America. Monday

- Annual Zola Crenshaw Halloween Parade — Lineup begins at 6 p.m.; parade begins at 6:30 p.m. in the National City Bank parking lot and move through the town of Chesterfield, ending at the Millcreek Civic Center. Costume judging and goodie bags for all children attending.
- Fourth annual Mounds Mall Halloween Extravaganza — 6 to 8 p.m., Mounds Mall. Free pumpkin decorating for the first 300 children, age 12 and a under. A costume contest will begin at 7:30 p.m. featuring four age divisions — 0-3, 4-6, 5-8 and 9-12. First-place winner in each division. Night Stalkers will have live snacks, spiders, rats and creatures on display. YMCA will take Halloween costume pictures for $5.
- Haunted School for children K through eighth grade — 6 to 10 p.m., Ebbertt Education Center, 325 W. 38th St. Hosted by the Naval Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps. $3 per child; four children for $10. Adults are free if accompanied by a child. Prizes for costumes. This event benefits United Way.
- Trails of Terror — 2742 E. 1100S, Markleville, 8 to 11 p.m. Winds you through five acres of dark foggy woods — where you encounter creatures and killers. Play a game of Jigsaw and watch as Jeepers Creepers take flight. Admission is $9 (children 5 and under are admitted free, however, not recommended). For more information, call (765) 533-2016.
- Haunted Park — Parking, tickets at Millcreek Civic Center, Chesterfield. You will be transferred to the park from Chesterfield, dusk to 11 p.m. Adults $8, children and students, $5.

- Harvest Party — 5:30 p.m., First Baptist Church, 907 N. Raible Ave. Hotdogs will be provided at the carry-in dinner. Activities following the dinner will include a costume parade, apple bobbing, hay rides (weather permitting).
- Trunk-R-Treat, 6-7:30 p.m., First Presbyterian Church, 230 W. Ninth St., Eighth Street parking lot. All children are invited to join in this free event sponsored by the deacons and the Evangelism Committee of the church.

- Family Fall Fair — 6 to 8 p.m., Florida Station Church of God, corner of Madison Avenue and County Road 375N. Activities will include fair games, a maze, hay rides, bumpy barrel rides and refreshments. No admission charge. - Trunk and treat — 6 to 8 p.m., New Life Church of the Nazarene Fellowship Hall, 3615 Raible Ave., Anderson.
- Annual trunk and treat — 6 to 8 p.m., Wesley Free Methodist Church, 3017 W. Eighth St., Anderson. Kids are encouraged to dress up (no scary costumes, please). Bring a sack and go trick or treating from car to car. There will be games, refreshments, videos as well as a chance to shoot hoops in the gymnasium. Park in the east parking lot.
- Halloween Boo-nanza — 6 to 7:30 p.m., Madison Christian Church in Frankton, 6 to 7:30 p.m. for costumed trick-or-treaters age 12 and under. Children will receive a treat bag full of candy and have a free photo taken to take home.
- Trunk-N-Treat — 6:30 to 8 p.m., Madison Park Church, located at East 67th Street and Columbus Avenue. This free event brings families and neighbors together for a fun alternative to the traditional “house to house” trick or treating. Church members create an entertaining, festival-like setting with creatively decorated cars, vans, and trucks. Families are invited to stroll from “trunk”to “trunk” while children collect sweet treats. Concessions, including hot dogs, walking tacos, chips, soft drinks, hot chocolate and coffee may be purchased at the event; proceeds benefit Dove Harbor, a non-profit ministry for women in crisis.
