‘Mini-revival’ to be held Sunday
Pastor Chris Chamberlin of Geater Love Ministries of Philiadelphia, Miss., will be featured at the mini-revival set for 7 p.m. today and 5 p.m. Sunday. at Miracle Faith Temple, 1501 Hendricks St. He is the son of Apostle Betty Chamberlin.
Dr. Bernice Tolbert is pastor and overseer of the church.
Soul’D Out Quartet in concert Sunday
The Soul’D Out Quartet will be in concert at 6 p.m. Sunday at North Anderson Wesleyan Church, 1947 E. 240N (corner of Rangeline Road and Bethany Road)
Shannons in concert at Redeemer Baptist
The Shannons, a national recording group of Muncie, will be in concert at 7 p.m. Sunday at Redeemer Baptist Church, 3230 Lindberg Road.
The Shannons have been singing for more than 25 years, write many of their own songs and play their own music. The Shannons’ ninth CD, entitled “From the Heart,” was released by The Eddie Crook Comapny. This CD features original songs from the family, including the newest single “He’s Everything to Me.” The concert will include original songs by The Shannons as well as some old favorites.
CDs and other items will be on sale after the concerts.
Burrow to preach at Miller Chapel
Rufus Burrow Jr., the Indiana Chair of Christian Thought and Professor of Theological Social Ethics at CTS, will be preaching in Miller Chapel at 11 a.m. Tuesday.
MaryAnn Hawkins, Dean of the Chapel, will be presiding. Claude Carothers will be leading worship and Mary Baker will serve as chaplain.
