Trick or Treat from 5 to 8 p.m. Oct. 31
Little ghouls and boys will soon be knocking at local doors with the expectation of tasty Halloween treats. Anderson Police Chief Darron Sparks has set trick or treat hours within the city limits for Friday, Oct. 31, from 5 to 8 p.m. Motorists should be especially vigilant on Halloween, and parents should plan to review trick or treat safety rules with their children before the big night, keeping in mind that an illuminated porch light is the owner’s signal that trick or treaters are welcome at that home! The National Safety Council has issued a useful Halloween Safety fact sheet, available at www.nsc.org/resources/Factsheets/hl/halloween.aspx.
