• Anderson police arrested Jay C. Hosier, 19, of the 800 block of West 53rd Street, Anderson, at 11:45 p.m. Thursday in the 5800 block of Scatterfield Road on suspicion of battery, a Class A misdemeanor, and illegal possession, consumption or transportation of alcohol, a Class B misdemeanor. He is being held without bond.

• Anderson police arrested Thomas A. Hopkins, 19, of the 2200 block of Jackson Street, Anderson, at 12:15 a.m. Friday in the 700 block of Isabelle Drive on suspicion of battery, a Class A misdemeanor, and illegal possession, consumption or transportation of alcohol, a Class C misdemeanor. He is being held without bond.

• Anderson police arrested Roman C.G. Lawson, 33, of the 1000 block of Fairfax Street, Anderson, at 5:20 p.m. Thursday in the 2000 block of Jackson Street on suspicion of operating a vehicle as a habitual traffic violator, a Class C felony, and leaving the scene of an accident, a Class A misdemeanor. He is being held without bond.

• Anderson police arrested Janece E.A. Brown, 20, of the 3500 block of Oaklawn Drive, Anderson, at 1:45 p.m. Friday in the 2300 block of Charles Street on suspicion of conversion, a Class A misdemeanor. She is being held without bond.

• Anderson police arrested William W. Huston III, 20, of the 700 block of Isabelle Drive, Anderson, at 12:30 a.m. Thursday in the 700 block of Isabelle on suspicion of resisting law enforcement, a Class A misdemeanor, and illegal possession, consumption or transportation of alcohol, a Class C misdemeanor. He has since been released.

• Anderson police arrested Stacey S. Hamlett, 34, of the 500 block of West 300 North, Anderson, at 10:40 p.m. Thursday near the intersection of Broadway and Hartman Road on suspicion of operating a vehicle while intoxicated, a Class A misdemeanor. She has since been released.
