Int’l. children’s choir to perform
Children of the World International Children’s Choir will perform at 10:30 a.m. Sunday at Wesley Free Methodist Church, 3017 W. Eighth St.,
This high-energy and inspiring program will feature several songs, in both English and native dialects, as well as stirring personal testimonies. The children have performed in such venues as Focus on the Family, Brooklyn Tabernacle, Crystal Cathedral and Disney World.

Grace Baptist marks 50 years
On Sunday, Grace Baptist Church of Anderson will celebrate “50 Years of Growing in Grace.” Bible historian Gene Fisher will present a program in the 9:30 a.m. hour and then will be preaching in the 10:30 a.m. worship service.
An anniversary banquet will follow the morning services, and then at 2 p.m. a special program will include skits, video presentations and other special events.
There will be no regular 6 p.m. service that day.
Also at 7 p.m. Wednesday (April 30, the actual date of the founding of the church), there will be a praise service followed by refreshments. Visitors are invited and welcome to all of these events.

Goins in concert at First Church
Larry Goins will be playing his annual Spring Organ Concert at the First Church of the Nazarene, 2300 Jackson St., in Anderson at 7 p.m. Saturday, May 3.
The concert will feature music from the Broadway stage as well as sacred and gospel music.
Goins has served as organist at the local congregation for the past 26 years. He has recorded several solo projects as well as serving as accompanist on many other recordings
There is no admission charge for the concert.
