- Anderson police arrested Albert J. Jackson, 50, of the 1400 block of West 16th Street, Anderson, at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday near the intersection of 22nd Street and Arrow Avenue on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance, a Class D felony; possession of marijuana, a Class A misdemeanor; and public intoxication, a Class B misdemeanor. Bond is $5,000.

- Madison County sheriff’s deputies arrested Michael D. Lloyd, 47, of the 700 block of East 23rd Street, Anderson, at 1:08 a.m. Wednesday at the Madison County Jail on suspicion of criminal confinement, a Class D felony; domestic battery, a Class A misdemeanor; and resisting law enforcement, a Class A misdemeanor. He is being held without bond.

- Madison County sheriff’s deputies arrested Amber E. Layne, 20, of the 2700 block of South 475 West, Anderson, at 5 p.m. Tuesday at the Madison County Jail on suspicion of burglary, a Class C felony, and theft, a Class D felony. She is being held without bond.

- Anderson police arrested John H. Logan, 52, of the 1400 block of Locust Street, Anderson, at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday near the intersection of 22nd Street and Arrow Avenue on suspicion of possession of marijuana, a Class A misdemeanor, and public intoxication, a Class B misdemeanor. He has since been released.
