- Anderson police arrested Mark A. Brown, 44, of the 300 block of East Cross Street, Anderson, at 10:40 p.m. Thursday in the 300 block of East Cross on suspicion of battery, a Class A misdemeanor. He has since been released.

- Anderson police arrested Tercoya R. Mitchell, 20, of the 500 block of West Ninth Street, Anderson, at 10:30 p.m. Thursday in the 2000 block of West 14th Street on suspicion of battery, a Class A misdemeanor, and mischief, a Class B misdemeanor. He has since been released.

- Elwood police arrested Harold W. Reynolds, 36, of the 1400 block of Main Street, Elwood, at 11:53 p.m. Thursday near the intersection of North C and 14th streets on suspicion of possession of marijuana, a Class D felony; possession of paraphernalia, a Class A misdemeanor; driving while suspended, a Class A misdemeanor; and possession of marijuana, a Class A misdemeanor. He has since been released.

- Anderson police arrested Peter J. Davis, 24, of the 2400 block of Lafayette Street, Anderson, at 4:30 p.m. Thursday in the 1300 block of North Raible Avenue on suspicion of driving while suspended, a Class A misdemeanor. He has since been released.

- Anderson police arrested Meocha S. Vasquez, 21, of the 2700 block of West 16th Street, Anderson, at 8:10 p.m. Thursday near the intersection of 16th and Nelle streets on suspicion of driving while suspended, a Class A misdemeanor, and operating a vehicle without ever having received a license, a Class C misdemeanor. She has since been released.

- Madison County sheriff’s deputies arrested Aaron A. Abbot, 31, of the 200 block of Andover Road, Anderson, at 7:18 p.m. Friday at the Madison County Jail on suspicion of strangulation, a Class D felony; domestic battery, a Class D felony; and invasion of privacy, a Class A misdemeanor. Bond is $50,000 cash.

- Elwood police arrested Brandon L. Harris, 31, of the 9000 block of West 1700 North, Elwood, at 9:37 p.m. Friday at 16th and South J streets in Elwood on suspicion of battery, a Class B misdemeanor; public intoxication, a Class B misdemeanor; and resisting law enforcement, a Class A misdemeanor. Bond is $3,000.

- Elwood police arrested Ashley R. Updegraff, 24, of the 1300 block of Main Street, Elwood, at 11:25 p.m. Friday at the 1300 block of South E Street on suspicion of operating a vehicle while intoxicated, a Class D felony; two counts of possession of a controlled substance, a Class D felony; and two counts of possession or use of a legend drug, a class D felony. Bond is $5,000.

- Madison County sheriff’s deputies arrested Travis A. Flatford, 18, of the 5400 block of 200 South, Anderson, at 2:30 a.m. Saturday at County Road 900 West and County Road 200 South on suspicion of possession of marijuana, a Class A misdemeanor. Bond is $3,000.

- Anderson police arrested Charles D. Smith, 40, of the 800 block of West First Street, Anderson, at 4:30 p.m. Friday at the intersection of Eighth and Arrow streets on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance, a Class D felony, and dealing in marijuana, a Class A misdemeanor. Bond is $5,000.

- Elwood police arrested Michael A. Kivett, 25, of the 3900 block of Maple Manor Drive, Indianapolis, at 5:54 a.m. Friday at the 400 block of North 10th Street, Elwood, on suspicion of theft, a Class D felony, and resisting law enforcement, a Class A misdemeanor. Bond is $10,000.

- Elwood police arrested Jose M. Galvan, 48, of the 2500 block of Main Street, Elwood, at 1:45 a.m. Saturday at the 100 block of South 18th Street, Elwood, on suspicion of operating a vehicle while intoxicated, a Class A misdemeanor, and public intoxication, a Class B misdemeanor. Bond is $3,000.

- Anderson police arrested Rodney D. Tackett, 40, of the 2700 block of South Elm Street, Muncie, at 4 p.m. Friday at the 2800 block of Broadway Street, Anderson, on suspicion of theft, a Class D felony. Bond is $5,000.
