Board of Works rescinds bids
ANDERSON — The Board of Public Works on Tuesday rescinded two bids for more than $90,000 each to renovate a property at 1302 Indiana Ave. The bids, which were the second round for that property, were too high for the project, Community Development specialist Amber Lewis-Lilly said. The Community Development Department will re-evaluate how to accomplish the project.
Also at the meeting, the board recommended acceptance of the project that remodeled Fifth Street through the Anderson University campus.
Alternative Gift Fair will take place
ANDERSON — The Season of Giving Alternative Gift Fair will take place on Sunday, Dec. 6, from 2 to 5 p.m. in the Reardon Auditorium lobby on Anderson University’s campus.
