ANDERSON — Ten shops will feature unique holiday decorating ideas and gifts during the annual Saint John’s Victoria Guild Christmas Corner. This year’s theme is “Believe.”

The holiday gift and decorating market will be Friday, Nov. 7, from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Saint John’s Medical Center cafeteria. Sharing the leadership for this year’s Christmas market are Pam Chambers and Mary Rose.

The Victoria Guild will be raffling the following items: a $300 gold bracelet donated by Standt’s Fine Jewelry; a $300 Saint John’s Gift Shop gift certificate donated by the Victoria Guild Council; a $150 gift certificate to Wal-Mart donated by Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Home; and a Demdaco nativity and a silk floral arrangement both donated by the Christmas Corner Committee.

A basket full of Christmas items also will be given away as a door prize. There is no charge to enter since it is the Victoria Guild’s way of thanking customers for supporting the Christmas Corner.

“The buyers have done a great job finding amazing gift items at great prices,” said Chambers.

The “Believe in Christmas Joy” store will feature gifts for $10 and under, including stocking stuffers, ornaments and boxed cards. Customers can pamper themselves with a jacket or vest from the “Believe in Christmas Beauty” shop, which also will have Christmas jewelry and fun aprons.

A bake sale will have homemade breads, cookies, candies and other treats. The food shop, “Believe in Christmas Tastes,” will have mixes for cheese balls, dips, and soups. Designer floral arrangements will be displayed throughout the area.

Serving as shop coordinators and event chairwomen are Nancy Good, Sharon McNabney, Judy Harmon, Brenda Craig, Carol Carlson, Brenda Welker, Connie McAvoy, Elizabeth Wehrley, Elaine Brizendine, Rosemary Frazier, Judie Byers, Millie Dewar, Eileen Baldauf, Louise Melander, Pat Short, Kay Reynolds and Jackie Corn.

Profits from Christmas Corner support Saint John’s Health System.
