9:16 p.m.: Daniels, Dunnichays to breakfast Saturday

— ELWOOD — Gov. Mitch Daniels will have breakfast with Olympian Mary Beth Dunnichay Saturday in Elwood.
Daniels, a motorcycling enthusiast, plans to roll into the parking lot at Lincoln Square Restaurant by 8 a.m., spokesman Brad Rateike said. The restaurant, 1514 S. Indiana37, is on the way to the Kruse International Car Auction in Auburn in northeast Indiana where Daniels is headed for the day.
In the Beijing Olympics, Dunnichay, 15, and diving partner Haley Ishimatsu placed fifth in the 10-meter synchronized diving competition.
Daniels typically rides his motorcycle on weekends. He sponsors a charity ride in October. This year’s ride, set for Oct. 10 and 11, will tour southern Indiana and benefits the Indiana National Guard Relief Fund.
