ANDERSON — Anderson police are investigating the death of a 35-year-old woman late Wednesday, but the incident is still considered a “routine death investigation.”
According to APD Detective Mitch Carroll, emergency personnel were dispatched to a home in the 2600 block of West 40th Street in response to a report of an unconscious woman. The woman, who has not been identified, was transported by ambulance to Saint. John’s Medical Center where she was pronounced dead.
“Police were notified by medical authorities to assist into the examination of what might have caused the woman’s death,” Carroll said. “Detectives are calling the case a routine death investigation.”
Carroll said more details will be made public.
