• Madison County sheriff’s deputies arrested Sarah L. Peters, 28, of the 3100 block of Autumn Ridge Drive, Anderson, at 12:55 p.m. Wednesday at the Madison County Jail on suspicion of theft, a Class D felony. Bond is $5,000.

• Anderson police arrested Teddy J. Ely, 32, of the 2300 block of Noble Street, Anderson, at 2:30 a.m. Wednesday in the 400 block of East 23rd Street on suspicion of possession of cocaine, a Class D felony. Bond is $5,000.

• Anderson police arrested Christopher D. Alfrey, 31, of the 1600 block of North Madison Avenue, Anderson, at 1:10 a.m. Wednesday in the 1700 block of Madison Avenue on suspicion of resisting law enforcement, a Class A misdemeanor, and public intoxication, a Class B misdemeanor. Bond is $4,000.

• Madison County sheriff’s deputies arrested Paul D. Troup, 28, of the 7700 block of South Lakeside Drive, Pendleton, at 12:44 a.m. Wednesday in the 7000 block of South Lakeside on suspicion of domestic battery, a Class D felony. He is being held without bond.

• Anderson police arrested David J. Shoemaker, 21, of the 2300 block of Central Avenue, Anderson, at 4:35 p.m. Tuesday in the 2300 block of Central on suspicion of possession of cocaine, a Class D felony; possession of marijuana, a Class A misdemeanor; and maintaining a common nuisance, a Class D felony. Bond is $5,000.

• Madison County sheriff’s deputies arrested Jeffrey L. Guffey, 38, of the 200 block of North 18th Street, New Castle, at 5 p.m. Tuesday at the Henry County Jail on suspicion of arson, a Class D felony, and aiding, inducing or causing an offense, a Class C felony. Bond is $10,000.

• Anderson police arrested Amber A. Brown, 25, of the 2300 block of Central Avenue, Anderson, at 6:35 p.m. Tuesday in the 2300 block of Central on suspicion of possession of cocaine, a Class D felony; possession of marijuana, a Class A misdemeanor; and maintaining a common nuisance, a Class D felony. She is being held without bond.

• Anderson police arrested Phillip K. Ellingwood, 18, of the 3500 block of Oaklawn Drive, Anderson, at 2 a.m. Wednesday in the 3800 block of Columbus Avenue on suspicion of attempted burglary, a Class C felony. He has since been released.

• Anderson police arrested Danielle N. Maier, 18, of the 3500 block of Oaklawn Drive, Anderson, at 3 a.m. Wednesday on suspicion of assisting attempted burglary, a Class D felony. She has since been released.
