8:40 a.m.: Hazardous weather on the way

The National Weather Service (NWS) in Indianapolis has issued a hazardous weather outlook for much of Indiana, including Madison County
Thunderstorms are expected through Monday morning with rainfall ranging from one-quarter inch to an inch per hour. Ponding could be a hazard on local roads and deadly cloud-to-ground lighning is also a threat.
Bartholomew, Boone, Brown, Carroll, Clay, Clinton, Daviess, Fountain, Greene, Hamilton, Hancock, Hendricks, Howard, Jackson, Johnson, Lawrence, Marion, Martin, Monroe, Montgomery, Morgan, Owen, Parke, Putnam, Shelby, Sullivan, Tippecanoe, Tipton, Vermillion, Vigo and Warren counties could also see severe weather.
