— Emergency medical responders were sent to the swimming pool at Mounds State Park about 5 p.m. Sunday on a report of a near drowning.
According to police radio traffic, a female in her 20s had been under water and was having trouble breathing. Lifeguards had her out of the water and she was conscious, according to initial reports.
