March 15, 2009 06:38 pm

NOBLESVILLE — WISH-TV will hold an open casting call for the 15th installment of the CBS reality show “The Amazing Race” from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday.
The open call will be held at Hare Chevrolet, 2001 Stoney Creek Road, just north of 146th Street on Indiana 37.
A “number-in-line” system will be used starting at 9 a.m. Monday at the casting call location. Numbers will be given out on a first come-first served basis and will include an approximate taping time starting at 4 to 7 p.m. A number will be issued only when a completed application and other required documents are presented. Anyone arriving after the numbers are all given out will be put on a stand-by basis and will be taped only if time allows. Each potential contestant team will have up to two minutes in front of a WISH-TV camera to talk about why they should be chosen to compete. The tapes will be sent directly to the show’s casting department. The tape will accompany the application, which must be completed in full before taping.
On “The Amazing Race, millions of viewers will watch as teams of two race around the world, never knowing where they’ll go next or what they’ll have to do once they get there. These teams will be put to the ultimate test as they’ll have to work together to stay ahead of the rest. One by one, teams will be eliminated, and in the end, only one team can be first to cross the finish line and win the grand prize.
Audition requirements:
* Each applicant must have a teammate in order to apply to participate on “The Amazing Race.”
* Each individual teammate must complete an application.
* If the producers select your team as one of the teams that they would like to interview as part of the semifinalist interview process, you and your teammate must be willing to travel together at your own expense to be interviewed by the producers at one of several locations throughout the country.
* Both members of each team must be at least 21 years old.
* Both members of each team must be United States citizens and live in the United States.
* All applicants must be in good physical and mental health.
* Applications must be filled out completely before the taping can take place. Preference and a higher number in line will be given to applicants who have filled out their application before arriving at Hare Chevrolet. Staff will not be able to wait for potential contestants to finish filling out applications if their number is called. If you need to get an application on site, they will not be given out past 6:30 p.m. because of the time needed to fill it out. Taping will be finished at 7 p.m.
