6:30 a.m.: Anderson Christian, Alex, Elwood, Frankton-Lapel, Liberty Christian, Madison-Grant schools on two-hour delay

— A winter storm overnight has caused delays at several Madison County schools.
Anderson Christian School, Alexandria-Monroe Community Schools, Elwood Community Schools, Frankton-Lapel Community Schools, Liberty Christian School and Madison-Grant Community Schools have reported a two-hour delay for Friday. Classes at Elwood will be moved back from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m.; high school classes for Frankton-Lapel students will begin at 9:45 a.m. and classes for elementary students will begin at 10:30 a.m.
Additionally, Madison Park Church of God has canceled its Men's Fraternity for Friday.
A winter storm dumped only moderate amounts of snow in central Indiana Wednesday night, but created icy roads.
