“It’s my hobby,” Thomas told Hoosier Lottery. “It’s a custom for me to play the same numbers.”

On New Year’s Eve, Thomas matched all five numbers on one line of a Hoosier Lottery Lucky 5 ticket for a win of $50,000. She used her current husband’s birthday, a previous husband’s birthday and her own birthday for three of the five of the numbers.

The winning numbers from the Wednesday, Dec. 31 Lucky 5-Evening draw were: 1, 11, 22, 32 and 35.

Thomas purchased her winning Lucky 5-Evening ticket from Mejier at 6610 Scatterfield Road in Anderson and claimed the prize today with her husband Merril, accoring to the press release.

She told Hoosier Lottery she plans to start a savings account with her winnings. The last time she won, Oct. 26, she sais she used her winnings to buy her husband new tires and a battery for his vehicle.
