On behalf of the Alexandria Fire Department, I would like to thank the following for their help and support during the tragic fire at 201 N. Sheridan St., Alexandria, at 10:20 a.m. Sunday, April 27: the Alexandria 911 Dispatchers, Beth Malston and Chrissy Rasmussen; Summitville Volunteer Fire Department; Pipe Creek Township Volunteer Fire Department; Anderson Fire Department Medic 1; Rural Metro Ambulance; EMAS Ambulance; Emergency Management Agency; Alexandria Police Department; Madison County Sheriff’s Department; Madison County Investigation Team; State Fire marshal’s office; Anderson and Madison County chaplains; the Crisis Intervention Team; Shanna Murray and children and Kari Ricks.

Thanks also go to Subway; Cox’s Supermarket; Strong’s Supermarket; East of Chicago Pizza; The General Store; Rickers; The Highway Café; Seals Ambulance; Patty Layton; Whetsel Funeral Home; and all the many community volunteers for their donations and support.
