Breaking News:  11:03 p.m.: American Axle strike may be over  May 16, 2008 11:05 pm

Published May 02, 2008 09:54 pm - The elected have long been followers of the belief that this nation could spend itself into prosperity!

Voters are not helpless

The elected have long been followers of the belief that this nation could spend itself into prosperity! That is pure lack of knowledge. Nations have repeatedly failed because of their debt crisis, exactly what is about to happen to America if some miracle does not cause the wakeup of this stupidity.

As the May primary is about to take place, we have a mail box full of candidates who want re-elected. They are the candidates who are responsible for the tax, spend crisis that has caused the inability to pay the property tax imposed upon us with no regard to where we are to get the money.

Those same politicians are all saying what the taxpayer wants to hear, the same old education, jobs, and especially the elimination of property tax. Scott Reske, Tim Lanane and Terry Austin all say they are for the elimination of property tax, sometime, while they are on record as voting against property tax elimination!!

We are not at this point, completely helpless. At the voting booth we can get rid of those who have created this mess including the school board members. We have previously failed to hang together and we are now hanging separately. Let’s have some new blood!
