Online BMV renewal easy, cost saving

=A few weeks ago, I received information from the Bureau of Motor Vehicles concerning the upcoming renewal date for our family vehicles. Enclosed with that mailing was a card with the Web site address for the BMV and an offer to receive a $5 reduction on the cost for each vehicle renewed online. It stated that only the driver license number, the last four digits of the Social Security number of an owner listed on each registration, current insurance information and a valid credit or debit card were needed.
My renewal date is in April so I decided to visit that Web site. It was so fast and easy I was very impressed. I spent less than five minutes renewing three vehicles and never left my home!
There have been so many complaints over the last few years concerning the BMV, the long lines, how slow they are, etc. Thanks to our governor, Mitch Daniels, not only can you renew at home, but you save money doing it! I saved $15!
When the time comes for you to renew your vehicle registration, try going online to www.mybmv.in.gov/renew and saving some more money.
