Anderson church plans gathering for healing

April 30, 2008 04:31 pm

On behalf of pastors, ministry leaders and Christians in general, who believe that anything that makes the genuine cause of Christ seem illegitimate must be addressed, I apologize to those who are searching for faith or who may view the recent publicized failures of ministry to be indicative of Christianity. I apologize to those who have accepted Christ and may have been taken advantage of by people using the name of Christ.
Just as after the earthquake, foundations are still standing, so too does genuine Christianity with Christ as the chief cornerstone.
We will host a special, no-admission-charged, no-offering-collected service. Simply a gathering for forgiving and healing.
Join us on Friday May 16, at 7 p.m., at 1610 Sheridan St., Anderson. Special service will be hosted by Pastor James E. Dixon Sr. and Providence Christian Church.
