Passenger law raises concerns

April 26, 2008 04:58 pm

I just got through reading the Our View on the passenger law and I have a question for those at the newspaper and Rep. Tom Saunders. The next time I stop to help someone and they get the bright idea to sue me for some injury that they think I have caused them, are you going to pay all of my legal fees, and if they win will you reach down deep in your pockets to the judgment? I think not.
The only way that bill will ever work is if the people that are being helped can never sue you and until then people will pass up those that need help for fear of a lawsuit. It is a sad state of affairs, but that is the way of the world.
