Letter: Obama underwrites offshore drilling

President Obama signed an executive order to loan two billion dollars to the Brazilian Oil Exploration Company to drill off the coast of Brazil. The oil from this operation will go solely to China, none to America. It’s interesting that the largest stockholder of the Brazilian Oil Exploration Company is George Soros, one of President Obama’s most generous financial supporters during his campaign. America has no gain whatsoever from this transaction, even though its tax dollars are financing it.

By the way, the Wall Street Journal printed an article on President Obama underwriting offshore drilling off Brazil on Aug. 18, 2009. This is not private information. I wonder why the major news networks did not cover this transaction. Could it possibly be that they only want the public to hear what they want them to hear, or perhaps it was just an oversight?

Why has there been no drilling in the U.S. or development of more oil refineries? Why does America continue to be dependent on OPEC or foreign oil when it has plenty of oil resources available here in the United States? Is it really because of protests from environmentalists? It’s what some would have one believe, but it’s not so.

The reason that there has been no drilling of oil in the U.S. or development of more refineries is because the ruling elite will not allow it. It’s part of their globalist plan for America. You see, the President and Congress take their orders from the ruling elite.
