Elizabeth “Betha” Malone celebrated her 82nd birthday Saturday with a family dinner at Anderson Zion Life Center.

Born April 23, 1926, in Mississippi, the daughter of Johnny and Alberta Nash, she moved to Anderson in 1966.

She has 12 children, Dorothy, Ervin, Frank Jr. (deceased), Frances, Lillie (deceased), Freddie, Mac, Ted, Louretta, Thurman, Margie and Donnie.

She worked 30 years at Guide Lamp and attends West 14th Street Church of Christ.
