Amy Christine Massengill and Richard Thomas Hay will marry at 5:30 p.m. June 29 at Washington Park East Community Life Center, Indianapolis, with Pastor Terry Nennich officiating.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Stephen and Rebecca Massengill, Anderson. She is a graduate of Highland High School and received a B.S. degree in elementary education at Ball State University. She is pursuing a master’s degree in education and an administrator’s license through the LEAD program at Anderson University. For four years, she was an elementary school teacher at Marion Community Schools and currently is a first-grade teacher at the Challenge Foundation Academy, a charter school on the east side of Indianapolis.
Her fiance is the son of Thomas and Linda Hay of Anderson. He is a graduate of Highland High School and attended Anderson University for two years. He worked eight years for the Anderson Police Department and two years as a deputy for the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Department.
