— Alexis Kelich of McCordsville and Brian Shaw of McCordsville announce their engagement.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Joe and Teresa Kelich of Frankton. Alexis graduated magna cum laude from the University of Indianapolis in 2007. She is a student at the IU School of Nursing and will graduate in 2009.
Her fiancé is the son of Ron Shaw of Poseyville and Debbie Shaw of Princeton. He is employed as a network engineer with International Medical Group in Indianapolis.
The couple will exchange wedding vows on Aug. 9.
