ANDERSON — The Anderson Fire Department responded Saturday to what was described as an electrical box fire at the Village Pantry at 14th and Main streets.

Assistant Battalion Chief Eric Hutchinson said the cause of the fire was under investigation and a final determination would be made after it was completed. However, he said, the fire did not extend passed the electrical box.

As a precaution, firefighters moved propane tanks on sale at the VP away from the building.

No injuries were reported, and smoke was visible from the rafters.

No one was injured, and the fire mostly smoked.
