UPDATE 7:25 p.m. Lapel-area fire

The cause of a fire that ravaged through a home near Lapel is unknown. Officials say the fire started in the garage and spread through the attic, collapsing the roof into the house. One person was home at the time of the fire. No serious injuries have been reported.
