Breaking News:  Parks Department to slash 62.5 percent of budget  November 22, 2009 08:23 pm

Mark Shields set up his race trailer in front of Highland High School Sunday evening and painted it to welcome home the Highland Choirs from their successful trip to Florida. Shields is the father of choir member Brittany Shields. Helping Shields light the trailer is his friend Shawn Nevin. Shields set up a sound system in the trailer and said that he was going to play Queen's "We are the Champions" as the choirs arrive. The inside of the school was also decorated and the choir's two busses received a police escort from the highway up Scatterfield to the school. Well-wishers formed a caravan from the Holiday Inn parking lot and followed the busses to the school.
